BARNEFILMFESTIVALEN 2027
Kristiansand International Children’s Film Festival (BFF) is Norway’s largest film festival aimed at children and youth (aged 3-19).
The festival takes place in the towns of Kristiansand, Arendal and Farsund, located in the beautiful Southern part of Norway.
The 30th edition of BFF will take place from the 18th to the 23rd of April 2027.
We accept entries of short films, feature films and documentaries – both live action and animation, from all over the world. Note that we only accept films with first official screening date after January 1st, 2026.

We ask you to send us a screener first. The screener is a copy of the film we will be using during the selection process. The screener must be subtitled in English.
When your film is selected for the festival we will ask you to send us a master. The master is the copy we will use for projecting your film on the big screen.
